The Dairyman’s Daughter Pub & Tearooms
A traditional pub and tearooms with oak
beams, antique furniture, friendly staff and plenty of
atmosphere. Sit in the conservatory under the grape vine or in
the public bar under ancient oak beams and admire the collection
of squeeze boxes, stuffed animals and local memorabilia.
Hot and cold food is served all day from a varied menu offering
a fine selection of homemade dishes that include local crab,
local sausages and Aberdeen Angus steaks. Maybe you could enjoy
a cake or pastry made by our own baker, who incidentally makes
some of the finest homemade bread and rolls on the Isle of
Wight. A fine selection of wines from around the world, bright
sparkling real ales and even a range of infused teas are
available. There are normally at least seven Ales available at
any one time, including Scarecrow Bitter, which is brewed in our
own Micro Brewery, an excellent range of German lager and ciders
from the South West. So whether you want to enjoy the nightly
live entertainment with local musicians, sample our traditional
and exciting menus or simply sit near the fire and have a pint,
we are sure you won’t be disappointed.
